Maharaja of Patiala Lighter
Peeking into the history of the lightermaking at S.T.Dupont, the first 100 solid gold lighters were commissioned by the great Maharaja of Patiala in 1941. This marked the birth of lighter in Dupont’s history.
Inspired by the Maharaja’s magnificent palace in India, the delicate hand engravings represent the architectural design of the palace. The Maharaja of Patiala lighter symbolizes the 75th year celebration of lightermaking in the history of S.T.Dupont created by our finest artisan, Frederic Krill and the Maison Dupont.
